Merry Christmas, a little early

GG decided while she was here that Porter could have his Christmas gift early so he could enjoy it this fall while the weather was nice. She and Grandpa Ted bought Porter a sandbox. He has only had it a couple of days and he has already played in it for hours. Great present GG and Grandpa!

P didn't let a last minute heart-breaking Nebraska loss dampen his Husker spirit...maybe because it happened during his nap...or maybe because when you're 2 a lollipop makes everything better. Hopefully next Saturday we'll have a better outcome!

The Big Day

On Porter's actual birthday, we took him to Chuck E Cheeses to play games and then out to dinner for grilled cheese and steaks, followed by a giant ice cream sundae!

Uncle Don, Aunt Linda, Alli and Kat sent Porter some very cool Thomas stuff, including the "Big Choo Choo". I'm not sure if Porter or Daddy has more fun playing with Porter's new birthday toys!
