Halloween Party and Scary Dinner
Dede's Halloween Crew
I brought home a jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's for our Halloween dinner. Porter does not like pepperoni and asked me to pick off the jack-o-lantern's face before baking...so after baking it looked nothing like a jack-o-lantern!
Halloween Trial Run 2012
A few nights before Halloween we did a practice run to teach Paisley how to trick-or-treat. The kids put their costumes on and then we went outside and knocked on the door. Rick answered the door with candy. The only problem with our test run was that Paisley liked it so much she wanted to go trick-or-treating that night and it was not halloween yet!
Our own Optimus Prime
Precious little Tinker Bell
Watch out Picasso
Nikki, Dede, Katie and I bought a Groupon for one of those paint while you drink wine places. Our project was a fish. Not sure any of us can quit our day jobs, but we had a great time!

Donut time
Rick and the kids recently discovered that if you go to the grocery store in the afternoon or evening, the donuts from the morning are available at a discounted price.
And though she be but little....
she is fierce!!!!!!!! When I saw this t-shirt in a catalog I had to have it for Pais, as that quote describes her perfectly!

Charlie's 2nd Birthday Party
At the end of September we went to my cousin's son Charlie's 2nd birthday party. My Aunt Cheri was in town for the party and Paisley went right for her at the party. It didn't take us long to figure out that Paisley thought Cheri was GG. Cheri got lots of snuggles and play time with Pais, but poor Pais was so confused when we left why "gg" wasn't coming with us!

The dreaded doctor visit
To quote Porter: "Mom, there are two reasons why I don't like having a birthday. One, you make us get our pictures taken. And two, we have to go to the doctor and get shots!" After the doctor left the exam room, Porter attempted to hide so he could avoid his shots! Unfortunately, it didn't work!
Sleepy Swimmers
On the second day of our staycation I took the kids over to the J.W. in the afternoon to play at their pools. We swam and played until the three of us were exhausted! The kids almost fell asleep waiting for the shuttle.
