Porter's Deadliest Catch

We just returned yesterday from a quick trip to Alaska to visit Porter's grandparents. We packed a lot into 3 and a half days in Juneau, including 2 fishing trips.

The second catch of the day - a 17 lb king salmon. I missed getting a picture of the first catch a 13 lb king.

Fishing is hard work! Thankfully the rocking of the boat helps put little ones to sleep.

Porter the pointer

Porter has recently discovered how to point with his fingers and it seems to be his favorite thing to do. We're thinking he might be destined to be a traffic cop or perhaps he will guide airplanes into the gate. Here are some action shots of his two handed point, as well as a cute sleeping picture that I couldn't resist sharing.

The Three Amigos

We made the trek to Gilbert this past Saturday for some fun with Porter's cousins since we will miss Cameron's first birthday party next weekend. The boys had a lot of fun playing together - as you can see in the photos Porter and Cameron are quite the dynamic duo.

Nebraska Trip

Here are some highlights from our trip to Nebraska. Porter had such a great time visiting his relatives. Unfortunately his mommy failed to get pictures of him with the Naber families, which is a shame because he had so much fun playing with his cousins.

Porter discovered the dog crate this morning. George watched with despair from across the room as his one sanctuary in the world was invaded.

Lunch with Noah

Porter had lunch with his buddy Noah today. Then they did a little shopping with their mommies.

A man on the move

Despite all of his fun toys, Porter is fascinated by his hair brush and comb. In this video he cruises across the room to get to his comb.

How did I get here?

Porter managed to crawl backwards under his crib and could not figure out how to get out. I was able to take a couple of pictures before he got really angry and started crying.
