Porter got to see his cousins and his buddy Noah on Saturday. Here are a few shots of the boys (and Uncle Ben too).

Ready for school

Rick took these pictures a couple of days ago before taking Porter in to Dede's. He is so happy in the morning to get to daycare and see his friends.

Summer treat

Porter had his first taste of Dairy Queen soft serve vanilla ice cream the other night. He was immediately a big fan.

Weekend Getaway

We spent part of the holiday weekend at the Canyon Villas at the Desert Ridge Marriott. Porter had a great time in the Lizard Lagoon where the water was only 6" - 1 1/2 feet deep, perfect for a 9 month old. He could walk in the water when he was in his little boat. The first picture below demonstrates how helpful he is. He climbed into his suitcase as I was packing it and proceeded to pull everything out and throw it on the floor.

Porter the librarian

One of Porter's favorite things to do in his bedroom is empty the little bin of books next to the rocking chair. This activity can occupy him for a good 5-10 minutes, which is amazing with his usual 3 second attention span!
