Porter's Car

Porter and I hit a neighborhood garage sale today and Porter's big find was this car. He is crazy about it. We took it in the backyard to clean it up and I couldn't get him out of it. He finally came inside to eat lunch, but as soon as he was finished it was right back out to the car.

My favorite part about where we live is the presence of hot air balloons. Now that the weather is nice we get to see them almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. Porter loves coming home from school everyday to play outside and he seems as fascinated by the balloons as I am. Yesterday there were two balloons right out front.

The Phoenix Zoo

We spent Sunday afternoon at the zoo with Chanda, Cameron, Mason and Joan.

Porter and GG had so much fun together over the weekend. Unfortunately their support of the Huskers was not enough to get us a win.

Cranky Monkey

Porter refused to take an afternoon nap on Halloween, perhaps because GG was here, or perhaps it was the anticipation of trick-or-treating. About 5pm he turned into Mr. Cranky-pants and refused to wear his costume. We were able to get it on him to take a couple pictures, but we will wait until next year to introduce him to the real fun of halloween. Luckily, his costume was a little big this year so maybe we will have a happy monkey next halloween.
