Cardboard Car
Kat and Porter spent hours making a cardboard car at Grandpap's house. Kat did most (all) of the work while Porter helped with the design. Porter and Paisley had so much fun playing in the car. It's always the simplest things, like boxes, that entertain children the most!

Ice Cream at the Wharf
Juneau is the only place I have ever been where you can eat ice cream while enjoying such beautiful scenery!
Gold Creek
One of the days in Juneau, we walked up Basin Road to Gold Creek by the old gold mine. And yes, those are tourists in the creek panning for gold!
Weary travelers
We left California on Friday, drove back to AZ, spent all day Saturday unpacking, doing laundry and repacking and left for Alaska on Sunday. Yes, we are CRAZY. Here are the sleepy little travelers on the plane trip to Alaska.
Giant Elmo
Before we left California, we stopped at a store Rick had seen that had tons of Hello Kitty stuff because Paisley still had Disney money left to spend and she loves Hello Kitty. However, once we were in the store, Pais attached herself to this giant Elmo (Melmo in Paisley speak) and wanted nothing to do with anything Hello Kitty!
Splash Mountain!
The last ride of our Disney trip was Splash Mountain. This was one I really wanted to go on and Porter did too. Porter insisted on sitting in the front of the log, even after we told him that might be the scariest seat and definitely would be the wettest seat. I LOVE the way our photo turned out. After the ride, Pops asked Porter if Splash Mountain was a little bit scary. Porter's response: "it wasn't a lil scary Pops, it was A LOT scary!" Although scary, it was also his favorite ride of the trip!
Train Ride and Monorail
On our last day at Disneyland, we rode both the train that goes around the park and the monorail (which Porter called the "bullet train").

Day 2: California Adventure Park
We spent the second full day of our trip at the California Adventure Park.
Paisley's favorite part of California Adventure was the fountain. She would have been perfectly content spending the whole day putting her hands and feet in the fountain!
Amusement parks wear little girls out. Grammer was so nice to help out when Pais was worn out so we could still go on rides with Porter.
We ended day 2 with a very nice meal at a restaurant in California Adventure. Our thin-blooded AZ kids were a little chilly!
